I got my learners permit in the mail. For some strange reason, the photo of me on it looks better than all of my other photos I've ever had taken of me.

I made it home alive, but late. The plane that runs the Buffalo-Charlotte route was more or less in need of repair, its left engine wouldn't start and they had to "jump start" it. So I got to Buffalo an hour late.

The recent collapse of the Interstate 35W brige in Minnesota is an unfortunate example of engineering gone horribly wrong.

The Minnesota Department of Transporation release its inspection records and the bridge had no serious safety issues that routine maintance could not resolve, which means the bridge's collapse may have had a hidden weakness in ( Read more... )

The weather lately has been back and forth for the whole week between snow and rain and its finally seem to have settled on freezing rain and ice. So now Everything is coated in ice. I dunno how bad it is but it looks like it could easily get worse. Tree limbs are sagging and small icicles are hanging off of everything.

It sucks being poor.

It also sucks that New York is the worst place in the country to do business in.

So yeah, we're out of money and the landlord wants money. Not to mention the other bills that prolly need to be paid.
